Prince's 3rd album, "Dirty Mind"

In this episode, we discuss how Prince wrote his 3rd album "Dirty Mind" while on the "Prince" Tour of 1980.

Prince taught the new "Dirty Mind" songs to the band and planned to perform this new material on the remaining shows of the "Prince" tour.

Prince has ideas to "sex up" the act, and this involved some racy activity on stage with keyboardist Gayle Chapman, particularly during the song "Head"

While performing the new "Dirty Mind" songs, Prince wanted to get "sexy" with band mate Gayle Chapman.

After a couple shows performing "Head" with Prince and the band onstage, Gayle Chapman quit the band.

Prince's Band members and the "Ritual of 19"

It is worth noting that it was in the plan of Prince's new Warner Brothers “supported” managers: Cavallo, Ruffalo, and Fargnoli to move Gayle Chapman out of the band and make way for a new band member, "19" year old Lisa Coleman.  Lisa was the first in a long line of Prince band members, proteges and love interests, to come into the fold at the age of "19"

Considering the "Ritual of 19" concerning Prince's contract ritual with the label, that we first discussed in Part 2: "Prince, WB Records, and the Freemasonic SLAVE Contract", it's no surprise that Gayle was moved out of the group and replaced with a  "19" year old from a "connected" L.A. musical family by Prince's managers, Cavallo, Ruffalo, and Fargnoli.

Lisa Coleman and future Revolution member Wendy Melvoin and her twin sister Susannah (a future Prince girlfriend), grew up together, since their fathers were musicians and members of the fabled "Wrecking Crew"; the Los Angeles backing studio band for many legendary singers.

We discuss The Melvoins: Wendy, Susannah, and their families in detail in an OUTTAKE from The “Purple Rain” episodes, (SEGMENTS 8 and 9) called  OUTTAKE: “The Melvoins, Sheila E, and Prince

I made this OUTTAKE in October 2018, after the “Purple Rain” episodes had concluded, to provide viewers with a fuller picture of who The Melvoins (and The Colemans) were in the music business at the time that they were around Prince in the 1980’s.

We watch a few interview clips with Lisa Coleman through the years,  and explore her Gematria coding in depth.  We also discuss some theories I have developed based on my research that many of the current band members and future band members of "The Revolution", may have been “pre-selected” based on their Gematria coding to not only join Prince's band, but to appear on and play on specific albums and songs through the years.  We review Gematria coding that supports this.

Lastly, in line with what we discuss all through the series, we will watch a 2017 interview with  The Revolution band members where they discuss how Prince had a "Life Plan" since the start of his career, and how he "knew" what his musical future held...
