We start this episode in early 1989 after the "Lovesexy" tour.  Prince does some housekeeping, firing a large portion of his management team.  He asks the ladies in the band (Cat Glover, Boni Boyer, and Sheila E) to make some decisions, that take them away from Prince and out of the band for various reasons.  

Prince has been focusing on writing and making his next major motion picture "Graffiti Bridge" since 1987, and while going through the steps to secure WB Pictures backing, is offered the opportunity to make music for the "Batman" movie.  

There is more relationship drama for Prince, as he starts a relationship with "Batman" co-star Kim Basinger.  Prince rides on some "comeback" commercial success with the "Batman" soundtrack, guaranteeing WB support of the  "Graffiti Bridge" movie.
