This is the Pt 2 of "The Parade Music" episode.
In this episode, we pick back up in Spring of 1986 where Prince and The Revolution are working on the next album "Dream Factory". "Dream Factory" was considered a group effort by Prince, yet it is turning out to be a Prince, Wendy, and Lisa project.
Wendy and Lisa are unhappy since their contributions to "Parade" have gone unrecognized and uncredited by Prince, and they consider quitting the band. This as well as Prince's treatment of Susannah is at the core of many fights and quarrels between Wendy, Lisa, and Prince.
Mark Brown is also considering other offers, still smarting after the "Kiss" credit situation and feels like an outsider in the creation of "Dream Factory". Bobby Z is feeling like Prince is trying to ease him out of the group in favor of Sheila E, and add all this to The Revolution's feelings about the expanding of the band to an 11 piece jazz fusion ensemble and the group and Prince are experiencing much turmoil in 1986.
Prince and Miles Davis finally meet and collaborate, as Prince and The Revolution embark upon the Parade Tour of the US, Europe, and Japan. All the internal struggles for Prince and the group eventually lead to a break up and shelving of the dozens of songs written during this time, most which remain unreleased.
